# 8.8 Systemtaste

Die Systemtaste befindet sich hinter dem Batteriefachdeckel und kann z. B. zu Wartungs- bzw. Testzwecken verwendet werden. Die Systemtaste reagiert auf drei verschiedene Tastendrücke. Einem kurzen Tastendruck, einem doppelten Tastendruck und einem doppelten langen Tastendruck. Letzterer ist für ein Zurücksetzen des Gerätes auf Werkseinstellungen vorgesehen (s. [8.9 Wiederherstellung der Werkseinstellungen](/dnt-lw-etrv/funktion-and-gerateubersicht/8.-gerateverhalten/8.9-wiederherstellung-der-werkseinstellungen.md)).

Die Funktionen des einzelnen und des doppelten Tastendrucks sind vom Nutzer frei belegbar. Auf die beiden Tastendrücke kann jeder Befehl konfiguriert werden, der nur aus einer Command ID besteht und somit ohne Parameter auskommt, wie beispielsweise [`Get Device Time (0x08)`](/dnt-lw-etrv/kommunikationsprotokoll/3.-geratezeit.md) oder [`Perform Adaption Run (0x34)`](/dnt-lw-etrv/kommunikationsprotokoll/6.-konfiguration-des-ventils.md). Konfigurieren lassen sich die Tastenfunktionen mit dem Befehl [`Set Button Action (0x37)`](/dnt-lw-etrv/kommunikationsprotokoll/12.-sonstige-befehle.md) und auslesen mit dem Befehl [`Get Button Action (0x38)`](/dnt-lw-etrv/kommunikationsprotokoll/12.-sonstige-befehle.md).
