# 8.6 Ventil-Entkalkungsfahrt

Einmal wöchentlich führt das dnt LoRaWAN® Heizkörperthermostat zu einem definierten Zeitpunkt eine Ventil-Entkalkungsfahrt durch, um Verkalkungen vorzubeugen. Wann dies geschehen soll, kann mit dem Befehl [`Set Decalcification Config (0x33)`](/dnt-lw-etrv/kommunikationsprotokoll/6.-konfiguration-des-ventils.md) eingestellt werden und mit dem Befehl [`Get Decalcification Config (0x32)`](/dnt-lw-etrv/kommunikationsprotokoll/6.-konfiguration-des-ventils.md) kann der eingestellte Zeitpunkt vom Gerät abgefragt werden. Neben der wöchentlichen Entkalkungsfahrt lässt sich diese auch manuell mit dem Befehl [`Perform Decalcification (0x35)`](/dnt-lw-etrv/kommunikationsprotokoll/6.-konfiguration-des-ventils.md) starten.
