# 8.11.2 LoRa® Firmware Update

Sobald ein Firmware Update für das Gerät bereitgestellt wird, wer\
den weitere Informationen zum Updateprozess in diesem Kapitel folgen.

Es besteht die Möglichkeit das Gerät via LoRa® zu aktualisieren, sofern ein Firmware Update vom Hersteller bereitgestellt wird. Dazu muss das Gerät zunächst in den Updatemodus versetzt werden.

Um den Update Modus direkt am Gerät zu aktivieren, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

* Nehmen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel (B) ab, indem Sie ihn im ersten Schritt nach hinten und im zweiten Schritt nach oben abziehen (s. Abbildung 2).
* Entfernen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel (F), indem Sie ihn nach hinten abziehen.
* Drücken und halten Sie die Systemtaste (E).
* Legen Sie die Batterien bei gedrückter Systemtaste (E) wieder in das Batteriefach.
* Lassen Sie anschließend die Systemtaste (E) wieder los.
* Anschließend befindet sich das Gerät drei Minuten lang im Updatemodus. Nun kann mit dem Update begonnen werden.
